Peninsula Club Seeking Head Coach for Summer 2022

Peninsula Club Swim Team is seeking a Head Coach for our summer swim team. The ideal candidate will have the knowledge and experience necessary to enhance the competitive and fun atmosphere of this strong swim program. Applicantmust be capable of building relationships with participants and assistant coaches and able to motivate team members.

The Peninsula Club Pirates summer season season runs from Memorial Day to the end of July. Practices and meets are held on weekdays with the exception of SMI and GKAISA City Meets. Several meetings and organization sessions prior to the swim season are required.

Maryville-Alcoa Flying Dolphins Coaching Positions 2022

The Maryville-Alcoa Flying Dolphins Swim Team needs summer coaches. We are looking to fill assistant and supportive coaching positions and will consider part-time and volunteer positions also based on availability and experience. Pay will be determined upon final coaching staff size and individual coach experience. The summer season starts on Memorial Day and ends after GKAISA City Meet at the end of July. Practices are held both in the mornings and evenings on weekdays. If you have the knowledge, experience and motivation to coach swimmers from the ages of 6-18 in a competitive but also fun environment, please submit your resume to president@flyingdolphins.org

Haslam Boys and Girls Club Seeking Lifeguards

Haslam Boys and Girls Club is seeking lifeguards for our swimming facility. Boys & Girls Club lifeguards have the chance to practice teaching life-long, healthy lifestyle skills to school-age children during swim lessons or swim team practice. We offer growth opportunity for our lifeguards by implementing and tracking various grants as well as creating day-to-day lesson plans. Guards work directly with youth and will have the chance to directly mentor youth in our area. The rate of pay for lifeguards starts at $15/hour. After school hours are 3:00-7:00, but there is opportunity to work an occasional weekend or extended hours.

UT RecSports Seeking Experienced Lifeguards

RecSports is seeking enthusiastic, motivated students to join our staff. By working with the Aquatics program, students will gain valuable experience in customer service, public relations, risk management, and more. Interested individuals are encouraged to apply at the following link:

Qualifications:

•Current American Red Cross Lifeguard/CPR/AED/First Aid certification• Successfully complete the pre-employment skill evaluation• Contribute a minimum of 10 hrs/ week; additional special event hours required• Summer Lifeguards may work up to 40 hours per week

Pay Rate: Base pay - $9.75/ hour; Summer Pay - $10.75/ hour; Event Pay - $12.75/hour Annual raises provided base on performance and service
