Crestwood Hills Wahoos Seeking Head Coach

The Crestwood Hills Wahoos are searching for a head coach for the 2023 season. We are a League 3 team of 190 swimmers celebrating our 51st season. Prior coaching experience is required. 

The ideal candidate will be of strong moral character, possess excellent communication skills, and have great enthusiasm. Practices are held 8-11 M-F and for one hour in the evenings M-R. The evening practice may be negotiable.

City of Clinton Seeks Aquatics Director

The Aquatics Coordinator plans, promotes, coordinates, and supervises daily activities of a variety of aquatics programs for a variety of age groups. This includes; public swim, swim lessons, special events, water aerobics, and a variety of aquatics programs at the year-round indoor and seasonal outdoor pool facilities. Provides general support to and works under the general supervision of the Parks and Recreation Manager. Recruits, schedules, supervises and trains lifeguards and volunteers. Monitors aquatic facilities for potential safety hazards and ensures patrons comply with applicable facility rules. Oversees pool cleaning and chemicals. Coordinates and facilitates training and certification courses related to lifeguarding, CPR, first aid, AED, aquatic standards, aquatic emergency procedures, and other related items.

Education and Experience:

Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent.

Minimum three (3) years of work experience related to recreation, programming, or operation and maintenance of a public swimming pool.

Minimum one (1) year of experience teaching swimming or first aid.

Starting pay $16.00 per hour

Haslam Boys and Girls Club Seeking Lifeguards

Haslam Boys and Girls Club is seeking lifeguards for our swimming facility. Boys & Girls Club lifeguards have the chance to practice teaching life-long, healthy lifestyle skills to school-age children during swim lessons or swim team practice. We offer growth opportunity for our lifeguards by implementing and tracking various grants as well as creating day-to-day lesson plans. Guards work directly with youth and will have the chance to directly mentor youth in our area. The rate of pay for lifeguards starts at $15/hour. After school hours are 3:00-7:00, but there is opportunity to work an occasional weekend or extended hours.

Qualifications:

Pay Rate: Base pay - $9.75/ hour; Summer Pay - $10.75/ hour; Event Pay - $12.75/hour Annual raises provided base on performance and service
