Coaches Training / Certifications

In order for a coach to be considered a GKAISA coach, the following requirements must be met prior to June 1 for the current season.

Coaches are required to complete Concussion Awareness Training, Sudden Cardiac Death Training, and Athlete Protection Training. The links for the training, along with the forms required by the State, are under the Coaches’ tab on this website.

NOTE: At least 1 Head Coach must have completed SafeSport per team. Either SafeSport or Redwoods are acceptable for the Athlete Protection training for the remaining coaches on each team. SafeSport is a more comprehensive training; however, the cost $20 per coach. (Redwoods is free for us.)
