ELIGIBILITY:

1. Swimmers completing their last year of GKAISA eligibility.

2. The criteria are excellence in the following:

• Service
• Leadership
• Being a good role model

THE MAXIMUM number of nominations per swim team are:

• One Female
• One Male

The nominations are limited to swimmers on your own team. Nominations must be completed and submitted by the head coach.

PLEASE SUBMIT the nomination form signed by the head coach. ALSO, PLEASE INCLUDE an essay of not more than 500 words written by the nominee, explaining what summer swim and the opportunities that it has provided have meant to the swimmer.

Forms should be emailed to Angelia Nystrom at [email protected] by 12:00 pm on Wednesday, July 22, 2020. Please include a photo of the nominee for the GKAISA website. 

PLEASE NOTE: If the nominee is an NCAA scholarship student-athlete, they may be required to disclose receipt of this service award to their school. The compliance officer of their school may interpret the NCAA rules regarding additional financial aid in such a way that requires the swimmer to return the monetary award to GKAISA. Regardless, GKAISA will recognize them as a recipient of the service award.
