CITY MEET UPDATE
The GKAISA Championship Meet will be held July 29-31 at the Allan Jones Aquatic Center on the University of Tennessee campus. We are currently working with the format for sessions based on entries in previous years and the time usage restrictions that we have in Allan Jones. We will publish that information as soon as it is available. It is our intent to run timed finals sessions for swimmers 12-Under and then run a preliminaries/final format for swimmers 13-Up. We are continuing to work with the University to ensure compliance with their guidelines and restrictions and will publish information as soon as it is available.
USA Swimming Rules regarding Technical Suits will be in effect. A list of approved kneeskins for swimmers 12-Under was provided at the Spring General Membership Meeting and is posted on the GKAISA website.
Spectators
GREAT NEWS! Spectators will be permitted in the stands at the Meet. Masks will be required for any adult who is not vaccinated and for all patrons under the age of 18.
Masks Required for Swimmers
Swimmers will be required to wear masks when entering from Clerk of Course and when exiting the pool and leaving the building, regardless of vaccination status.
