GKAISA - City Meet and Meet Directors meeting update

Team Coaches and Reps,

Good afternoon.

We have two important date changes to announce.

First, due to a conflict impacting several league reps and board members the Meet Directors meeting is being moved to May 14th at 9:00am and will be held at Sacred Heart Cathedral on Northshore Dr.

Secondly, and the most impactful, due to a nationwide Boy Scouts of America meeting at UTK which overlaps GKAISA’s city meet dates, we are needing to reschedule city meet.

GKAISA City Championship Meet will take place on Thursday through Saturday, July 21-23 and follow the previously announced daily schedule.

As parents and reps of GKAISA teams ourselves, the Board recognizes this may interfere with previously made plans. The board considered many options and worked with Allen Jones staff to look at different solutions. However, moving City Meet to July 21-23 is the best course of action given the situation.

a. Meet Scheduling meeting will be Tuesday, 12 April 2022 at 7:00 pm

Arnstein Jewish Community Center (AJCC)

All teams are required to send a rep to sign finalized schedules unless every team in the respective league has signed the final schedule via email.

b. Coaches meeting will be Tuesday, 10 May 2022 at 7:00 pm
