Please see the attached warm-up times and lane assignments for tomorrow. Be sure that your swimmers are aware of the warm-up times. ALSO, the Girls Pool will be used as a warm-up/cool down pool… not for play. Additionally, swimmers should not dive into the pool. Failure to observe these rules will result in closure of the pool.

COACHES PACKETS

We will be handing out coaches packets tomorrow morning at 7:00 am in the concourse. We will have a very brief coaches meeting at 7:15 in Hospitality. Your packets will contain heat sheets and relay cards. Please make changes on all cards and return them to the Clerk of Course.

CLERK OF COURSE

The Clerk of Course will NOT call events prior to lining up swimmers. It is the duty of your swimmers to get to Clerk of Course on time.

The Clerk of Course will be run in the Boys Clerk of Course.

GKAISA AWARDS

Tomorrow afternoon, we also look forward to awarding the Tom Schumann and Bill Lauer Service Awards, which are the highest awards given by GKAISA. We will also award the James Rich Courage in the Face of Adversity Award.

We will also remember our dear friend and former GKAISA President Terry Gardner, who will be posthumously inducted into the GKAISA Hall of Fame. Terry worked tirelessly to improve the parent and swimmer experience with both summer swim and our Championship Meet, and we are honored to be able to remember him at the event that he loved so much.

We will also award the Terry Gardner Memorial Scholarship, which is given by Terry’s family to honor a graduating senior who embodies the values and qualities that Terry believed in. Terry leaves a legacy of innate leadership, initiative, sportsmanship and kindness, and we are honored to recognize a swimmer who emulates these qualities.

HELP CHILDREN IN NEED WHO ARE LEARNING TO SWIM!

As we previously announced, Claire Wingard from the Village Green Gators is collecting swimsuits and googles for a local learn-to-swim program for children from underprivileged backgrounds. We appreciate all who have donated this week.

If you have not donated, there is still time! Please bring any new or gently used suits and goggles that you would like to donate to City Meet. A collection bin is located in the lobby at Allan Jones.

PARKING PASSES

We have a very limited number of passes available for purchase tomorrow, first-come first-served. Cost per pass is $20.

COMMEMORATIVE HEAT SHEETS

We will be selling a commemorative heat sheet tomorrow that honors our graduating seniors. Cost for Heat Sheets is $10.
