Good morning, Everyone!

We are excited for Day 1 of competition at the GKAISA Championship Meet!

I've had a number of people reach out regarding the weather today. A little (or a lot) of rain will not stop competition today!

In the event there are storms in the area during the Meet today, we will follow the UT Department of Emergency Management's plan. (They know that we are here, and they will provide direction as to what needs to be done.)

In the event of lightning in the area, swimmers in Clerk of Course will be brought into the building. If your swimmers and parents are in the tents and lightning is present in the area, they will be instructed to move to their vehicles or to the Student Aquatic Center. If your parents and swimmers are already inside, they will be instructed to shelter in place.
