Good evening GKAISA.  I hope all of you are excited for the quickly approaching summer swim season.  Below are a few notes and reminders as we all prepare.

TEAM CONTACT INFORMATION

All team contact information is being collected electronically this year via this Google doc link: https://forms.gle/6nJQKeVmAxF91ngi8.  The following teams have not submitted updated data for the 2024 season:

• League 1: BBBF, VG
• League 2: CHP, FDCC, GCC, GW
• League 3: GP, NFC, JCSC
• League 4: CCC, LCB, MAFD
• League 5: EYF, PFY
• League 6: CSST

Additionally, each team should be assigning league roles on their own websites.  Completing this information ensures that the appropriate personnel receives the correct communication as all emails are generated according to each specific role (i.e., head coach, team admin, meet director, etc.).  If you have questions, please ask!

CERTIFIED OFFICIALS TRAINING

The updated schedule of Officials Clinics and the updated list of certified officials are posted on the website.  Additionally, both are attached to this email for your quick reference. Encourage your families to become involved and get certified.  

CITY MEET ADVERTISEMENT PACKAGE

The GKAISA City Meet Ad Package is attached below.  There are varied sponsorship levels this year in an effort to provide an opportunity for all types of businesses to become GKAISA City Meet Sponsors. The deadline to submit your application for sponsorship is June 15th, 2023. This will allow sufficient time to prepare all of the necessary banners and ads in our heat sheets. Email [email protected] with any questions.

COACHES' MEETING

As a reminder, the mandatory Coaches' Meeting will be held on May 14th at 7pm in the Sacred Heart Gymnasium.

COACHES' TRAINING

Coaches' Training is due before June 1.  All training links are located on the GKASIA website under the TRAINING tab.  All training is to be submitted via Google link which will be sent to the Head Coaches as indicated on the 2024 Team Contact information.

CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE

Insurance certificates are due by June 15.  Submit them via this Google link: https://forms.gle/E3SWKbpt7wFxHLJq7. The link can also be found under the TRAINING tab on the website.

MEET DIRECTORS' MEETING

As a reminder, the Meet Director's Meeting is on Saturday, May 18th at 9am in the Sacred Heart Gymnasium.  Attendance is mandatory.
