Congratulations on a great summer season! We loved watching your athletes compete at City Meet! We wanted to give you some information about our upcoming trials and TNAQ Tridents (our noncompetitive swim team).

Tennessee Aquatics has a swim trial and dive trial coming up in August. These trials are a great way to try out our teams and meet our coaches! Both trials are for prospective athletes only; our competitive athletes will return the following week for practice.

TNAQ Fast Track – Monday, August 12 - Thursday, August 15 at the Student Aquatic Center from 5:30pm - 6:15pm for 10 & Under and 5:30pm - 6:45pm for 11 & Up

• Fast Track is a four day stroke and turn clinic, which is a great way to prepare for the 2024-2025 season! Each day will focus on a different stroke. At the end of the clinic, swimmers will be placed into their suggested group by the coaches.
• The cost is $100 per swimmer – which can be applied toward your account if you decide to join our competitive swim team
• All athletes must register online to participate

TNAQ Diving Trial – Monday August 12 - Thursday, August 15 at the Student Aquatic Center from 6:00pm - 7:30pm

• The Diving Trial is a four day diving clinic hosted by the only club dive team in East Tennessee. Join us to learn how to do fun flips and acrobatic moves from a springboard and platform into the pool! At the end of the clinic, divers will be placed into their suggested group by the coaches.
• The TNAQ Diving Trial is free, and no registration is required.

TNAQ Tridents – noncompetitive swim team for ages 6-18

• Swimmers have the option to practice 2–4 times a week (depending on age) in eight week sessions. This is a great option for swimmers who have other extracurricular activities, but want to continue swimming throughout the school year.
• Tridents emphasizes the proper technique for all four strokes and building athletes’ confidence and endurance in the water.
• Our non-competitive program does not disqualify you from participation in Smoky Mountain Invitational. For more information, visit the Tridents webpage
