This year we will again be asking each top qualifier from the 15-18 age group to choose “walk out” music for finals on Sunday. This music will be played over the indoor speaker system after the consolation heat has been swum and before the finalists are introduced. 

Please announce this to your team so that your swimmers can be thinking in advance what they would like to have played if they are top qualifiers. For logistical reasons, this is for the 15-18 age group only.  

Please note: this music must be appropriate for all age groups. Any style of music is allowed, but absolutely no lyrics containing sexual content, profanity, or references to violence will be allowed. All music will be screened for content. If any music is found to be inappropriate, pre-selected substitute music will be played. 

If you have a swimmer who is a top qualifier during 

the Friday preliminaries

1) Email the title of the song and name of the artist to the address below on Friday or Saturday. We will then download the song. We will not be receiving CDs.

2) Please put “GKAISA Heat Winner Music” in the subject box.

3) Make sure to include your name, your team, your event, and the event number in your email. 

4) Also include any cueing instructions (i.e. “start at 1:32”). Approximately 30-45 seconds of music will be played.
