We are working on parking details for City Meet.  If you will remember in the beginning of the summer, we mentioned that parking would be different this year because of all of the construction at UT.  We will NOT be allowed to use the parking garage or any of the UT lots.  Anyone who does so WILL BE ticketed.  We will be parking at the Metrone/Kingston Pike building near Tyson Park. 

Parking will be free, but the parking area is 1 mile from Allan Jones.  We are working on the traffic flow for providing a drop-off at Allan Jones, and we will be providing shuttle buses between Allan Jones and the parking area.  We will need to cover the cost of the shuttle bus by assessing a per swimmer fee of either $1 per swimmer for a few hours of the shuttle buses per day or $2 per swimmer for all day shuttle bus.  This fee is for the entire weekend instead of the $5 per day parking fee and will need to be sent in with your entry fees.  No bus pass will be required, and all family members will be allowed on the bus.  If we offer shuttle buses for part of the day, it will be from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and then for 2 hours in the afternoon around the end of the meet.  If it is for all day, it will be from 7:00 a.m. until the end of the meet each day. 

Please email [email protected] asap and with feedback on your preference: all day for $2 per swimmer or part day for $1 per swimmer.   It is not an ideal situation, but it is what we have to work with.  We can't make everyone happy, but will do our best to provide a reasonable arrangement.
